Who this guide is for

A business owner or authorised representative setting up a venue. Have your business details ready. Walk-in setup also needs your service hours, typical service time, and how many people can serve at the same time.

1. Find your business before registering

Your business may already be in the directory. Search for its name and suburb or city on the homepage before registering. Check the address so you choose the correct location.

You find an unclaimed listing

Open it and choose Own this business? Claim this listing. This starts setup using that listing's details.

Find your listing

You cannot find your business

Choose Add your business and register its details. Use this only if you've already searched and couldn't find your business.

Add your business

It is already using QueueFinder

If you already have access, choose Business sign in. If you do not, contact the owner or support to get access. Don't create a second listing.

Business sign in

2. Create your account and check the business details

Follow Create your account, then Business details, using Continue between steps. Check the name, physical location, contact details and venue timezone.

When claiming a Google listing, the business name and location come from Google and can't be changed here. You can update contact details and queue settings. If the name or location is wrong, contact support to correct it.

3. Choose and prepare your venue’s workflow

In Business details, answer How will this venue use QueueFinder? Choose the workflow for this location. Availability is shown in the setup screen.

Choose one setup

Walk-in queues

For services such as haircuts, salon services or clinic waiting. In Set up your queues, choose recognisable names, typical service time, how many people can serve at the same time, who can join, and your weekly hours.

Order collection

For takeaway food or other orders customers have already placed. You'll set up one collection point. Keep using your till as usual.

Collection setup and operation

Both

For a venue offering service queues and order pickup. Set up both workspaces prepares separate queue and collection workspaces. Configure the walk-in queues; use a distinct collection QR for paid orders.

4. Review, finish and verify ownership

Check Review and finish, then choose Finish setup. Complete ownership verification before your venue goes live. You'll see the verification step after you finish setup.

5. Get ready for your first customer

After ownership verification and activation, open the correct venue and workspace. For walk-in queues, check who can join, how many staff are serving, and your open hours. For collection, check that orders are being accepted and set the collection window (e.g. 15 minutes). Print and test the matching QR flyer, then invite the team members who will operate the venue.

Before you welcome customers

  • Correct venue, address, timezone and workflow
  • Ownership verified and venue active
  • Walk-in: queue names, service times, staff count, hours, and who can join
  • Collection: collection QR printed and collection window set (15 min is default but you can change this)
  • Correct QR flyer tested on a customer phone
  • Team members added and can access the right venue
